

Felicita is predeceased by her parents, Abraham Lastra and Victorina Garcia; brothers, Samuel Lastra, Jorge Lastra and Abraham Lastra, Jr.; grandson, Adrian (Nigel) Gaines and daughter-in-law, Lori Levotch. Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Lilia Maria Lastra; sons, Jesse Gaines, Jr., Clifton Gaines (Nita) and Manuel (Victor) Gaines (Annette); daughters, Carmen Amado (Billy), Marlyn Gaines and Lilia Adams (David); grandchildren, Nicole Amado, Cheryl Amado-Kresge (Kyle), Marques Gaines, Crystal Rodriguez, Rory Robinson, Neshe Ruiz-Gonzalez, Damon Gaines, Sydney Amado-Tuthill (Mandla), Marissa Gaines; great-grandchildren, Taina Rodriguez, Joequan Vinson, Javon and Shaun Robinson, Arjun and Tuuli Kethaveth, Mya Gaines, Skye Gaines, “Tre” Earnest Judge, III and Jason Jr. Ruiz-Gaines and Panama family and friends.
Felicita was born February 21, 1933 in Rio Hato, Panama. Felicita acquired her United States citizenship and retired as a Federal Employee having served 20 years faithful service. She was very proud of rearing 6 children while their father was proudly serving in the US Navy. She enjoyed gardening, playing poker, bingo, bowling, fishing, playing slots and going to the beach were among her favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed good food, laughter, cowboy movies, playing solitaire. Throughout Felicita’s life, she was able to travel internationally and experience various cultures and ways of life. She was able to make many trips “home” to Panama to visit her siblings and other family members. She enjoyed showing her children and grandchildren where she grew up and to learn more about her childhood. Felicita had a good life and she will truly be missed. Her spirit will always be with her loved ones.
