Frankie was born on October 18, 1934 and raised on a farm in Franklin County, NC, the ninth of ten children of Graham and Ina. Frankie attended Hardbarger Business School in Raleigh, NC where she met and married the love of her life Randy. As newlyweds they moved to Virginia where Randy was employed, but Frankie always treasured her North Carolina heritage. She then went on to work until retirement for the City of Chesapeake. She loved her family dearly of which she was most proud. She loved the Lord with all her heart and taught Sunday School for many years at both Indian River Baptist Church and Woodland Heights Baptist Church, where she was still a member. She served a term as chaplain for the Resident Council at the Chesapeake Retirement Home where she enjoyed living for many years. She enjoyed crocheting baby caps for Chesapeake General Hospital and baking brownies for her beloved grandchildren. She loved writing poetry and wrote a poem for each of her family members. She also enjoyed painting in her later years and left each of her children and grandchildren a painting.
She is survived by her three children Mark, wife Tempi, Susan, husband Jeff, and Janet, husband Brian, her grandchildren, Brantley, Tanner, Justin, Courtney, Coleman, Emily, and Caroline, and her sister Willie Williams.
