George Kuntz Cressman, 95, passed away in Norfolk on Monday, May 10, 2021 in Norfolk, VA. George was born in Pennsylvania to Ralph and Anna Cressman. He is also predeceased by his wife, Betty Cressman. George proudly retired from the US Marine Corps. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, reading books and spending time with his family. He was a devout Christian and longtime member of First Baptist Church. There he taught Sunday school class as well. He is cherished in memory by his children, Georgia Griffin (Danny), Gary Cressman, Leonard Cressman (Marchelle), Patty Agolini (Jim) and Sandie Blankenship and (Bill); grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Jason, Leonard, Jr., Quentin and Cody; nine great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
There will be a graveside service set for 3pm, Monday, May 17, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
