Grace lived up to the definition of her name, "favor, blessing, or charm; often associated with God's freely given love and mercy." Her positivity shone bright every time she entered a room. She could see the good in every situation. Grace will be deeply missed and her family is thankful for the love that they shared.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, Michael Paul Schacter; daughter, Susan Lee Spring; son, Michael David Schacter; grandchildren, Lauren Ashleigh Spring, Christopher James Spring, Karlie Grace Schacter; and a host of other family and friends. Though we grieve, we find comfort knowing that Grace is now in the loving arms of our Lord.
A celebration of Grace's life will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Norfolk, 312 Kempsville Road, Norfolk.
