Jack Beverly Harris

Jack B. Harris, Sr, age 78, went to be with the lord on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Chesapeake, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Edna Mae Harris, and his son Jack B. Harris, Jr and wife, Jeanie, his daughter, Susan Harris Martell, and husband Vernon, and his step sons Nick Todd Norris and wife, Melissa, and Timothy Walter Norris. His Grandchildren are Jack B. Harris III, Joseph Harris and wife Shannon, Shannon Hill and husband Brooks, Madison Martell, Brandon Norris, and Ashley Mulero and husband Chris. Great grandchildren are Logan Harris and David Mulero. His sister Jeanette Cunningham, husband David, and son, George Culbreth. Another sister Rosemary Migneault and husband, Michael, and sons John and Jason.

Jack was born on December 23, 1939 in Norfolk County, Virginia to parents John A. Harris and Rosa Mae Phields. He lived and worked in the Tidewater area until he retired at age 65.

He was a social man and an avid golfer. He also officiated high school football for over 20 years. He loved to watch the Virginia Tech Hokies play football and especially loved the Washington Redskins. His family and friends will always remember him as a sports fan and loving family man.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Norfolk, VA. The family will be welcoming guests at the home of Jack and Jeanie Harris in Chesapeake, VA.
