Joel Jerrell Byrd passed on February 13, 2010 and is resting peacefully with the Lord. He was born on February 13, 2010 at Porstmouth Naval Hospital. Joel is survived by his loving parents James and Vadia Byrd, and one brother James Byrd IV. He also is survived by his maternal grandparents Jerry and Barbara Wilson, his paternal grandparents James and Ruth Byrd, and many other relatives. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Bishop Ted Thomas, Sr. presiding. Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk.
