Josephine Fluke, 88, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010. She was born in Panama, on May 7, 1922 and has been an area resident for over 50 years. She was the widow of husband Philip who passed away in 2006, and is survived by her daughters Dorothy Jolliff and Avis Fluke; three brothers Juan Peralta, Pillo Peralta, and Toto Peralta; one sister Seva Peralta; two granchildren Michelle Holliday and Amber Jolliff; and four great-grandchildren Fallon Holliday, Shaylla Holliday, Qasia Johnson, and Ahmad Felipe Williams.
Funeral services will Be held Wednesday, August 11, at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk, where a visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
