J.R. was the most wonderful big brother any girl could ever wish for. My brother was everything to me. I have so many wonderful memories with him that I will cherish forever. It’s not real to me that he is gone. Life will not be the same without him. I am relieved he suffers no more and thankful I could be there with him his last days. Rest my dear J.R. I love you with all of my soul. I will see you later, buddy. ❤️

My dear family members of JR Snell: I want to let you know that JR has been a dear and loyal friend of mine since I first started calling on American Sheet Metal in 1983. Your family has meant so much to my family and me through JR's bride, her father and JR over the years. I recently showed JR pictures of him dancing with my daughter at one of the VARC summer events at VA Beach. He has always been and will continue to be a sweet gentile spirit of a person to me. My prayers are with you and your loved ones during the next days and months. Sincerely, randy sansbury

We all grew up on Brian Avenue. Your family were such a special part of my family. We all looked up to JR as kids because he was the oldest of all the kids.
You now will be in the hands of your parents and mine. I will never forget you JR and the childhood that we all grew up with on that street .
Rest In Peace my dear brother !
