Linda Rae Chatham

Linda Rae Beasley Chatham, age 80, stepped into Eternal Life on April 24, 2024. She was born June 5, 1943 in Norfolk, VA, the second daughter of the late Helen Maxine Thompson Beasley. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Edward Chatham Sr.; infant son, Thomas Edward Chatham, Jr.; daughter, Virginia Leigh Howlett and her two sisters, Helen L. Jefferson and Brenda E. Heath.
She is survived by her children, Glenda R. Rogers, (Mark), Mary J. Pifer, Timothy E. Chatham (Jessica), 14 grandchildren, Phillip, Aaron, Luke, Rebecca, Rachael, Ronald, Ruth, Tabitha, Lydia, April, Thomas, David, Grant, Aubrey; 9 great grandchildren, AJ, Crystal, David, Daniel, Emily, Justin, Sophia, Josiah and Amelia; two brothers, Wilson L. Beasley, Jr (Judy) and R. Douglas Beasley (Joann) and numerous nieces and nephews and last but definitely not least, her service dog, Ahavah.
There will be a graveside service starting at 1pm, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation starting at Woodlawn Funeral Home an hour prior at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society. Please offer your fondest condolences to the family during this difficult time.
