Marina Coranes Perigrino

Marina Coranes Perigrino, 87, passed away on October 5, 2024. Marina was born in the Philippines to the late Quirino and Dorotea Coranes Perigrino. She graduated from Deluxe Fashion School as a dress maker in Manila. She was funny, loving, and caring. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite past times were watching Filipino drama, keeping up with Filipino pop culture, dancing, listening to oldies, and baking sweets.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Reynaldo Ong (Victoria Ong), Dorotea Dayanghirang (Rene Dayanghirang Sr.), Lito Ong (Ruth Ong); grandchildren, Michael Ong (Andrea Ong), Rommel Dayanghirang (Leah Dayanghirang), Rene Dayanghirang Jr. (Elsa Dayanghirang), Melanie Maranan (Julius Maranan), Daryll Ong (Larissa), Kate Ong (Shirley), John Ameire Ong (Arianne), and Cristian Ong; great-grandchildren, Raymond Dayanghirang, Angelo Dayanghirang, Lily Dayanghirang, Natalia Hope Maranan, Hershey Ong, Chelsea Ong, Ashna Ong, Athena Ong, Shad Ong and Shan Ong. She is the eldest of 11 and is survived by her siblings, Cosme, Ben (Shirley), and Marcelina and their children and grandchildren.

You are invited by the family to a visitation on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk 23502.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens immediately after Mass (Located behind the funeral home- Garden of Apostles).
