Mary V. Howlett, 81, passed away December 5, 2011.
Mary is predeceased by her husband Harvey L. Howlett, Sr.; three brothers; and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Carroll (Mike) of Gastonia, NC; son Harvey L. Howlett, Jr. (Trish) of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren Kelsey Howlett, Alexis Howlett, Jay Cherwa, Brian "Cow" Cherwa, Chris Carroll, and Sean Carroll; and five great-grandchildren Tyler Cherwa, Conner Cherwa, Ryan Cherwa, Kendall Carroll, and Morgan Carroll.
A visitation will be held Thursday December 8, from 7pm to 9pm in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk. A service will be held Friday, December 9, at 12:30pm in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
