Paolo Arnold Pineda, 32, passed away in Gulf Breeze, FL on September 14, 2024. Paolo was born and raised in Stockton, CA. At the age of 12 they moved to Chesapeake and graduated from Indian River high school. From his younger years he had very high aspirations for the military. Paolo joined in Indian River’s JROTC Drill Team, which installed his love of the Air Force and his patriotism to his country. In the Air Force he worked up to the rank of Staff Sergeant where he worked as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. He is cherished in memory by his loving wife, Erin Pineda; parents, Arnold and Regina Pineda; children, Rory and Isla Pineda; sister, Paulene Gonzalez and her husband, Julian; brother, Patrick Pineda; nephews, Aidan and Dominic. Paolo will be deeply missed by all. He leaves behind other significant family members and close friends.
There will be a Catholic Mass starting at 11am, Friday, September 27, 2024 at St. Mathew Catholic, 3314 Sandra Lane, Virginia Beach, VA. 23464. Later that evening, a visitation will follow from 5-7pm and will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home with a reception to fellowship and share some memories with the family. On Saturday, September 28, 2024 there will be a graveside service starting at 1pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the rendering of full US Air Force honors. One hour prior to the graveside, there will be a final viewing for Paolo at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Please offer your fondest condolences to the family during this difficult time in their lives.
