Paul Anthony Abbey died May 30, 2015. He was born in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of Wayne R. Abbey, Jr. and Aurora Punzalan Abbey, but had been a resident of Norfolk for 23 years. He was a full-time student at Bryant & Stratton College and a member of Little Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his two sons, Kai Singleton and Elijah Bynum; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Stellmaker, Mrs. Mary Shoulders, Mrs. Tammy Oatis, and Ms. Nora Abbey; and one brother, Wayne R. Abbey, III.
Homegoing Service will held at 12 noon on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel with Pastor Wade Smith officiating. Viewing hours will be 2 hours prior to the service and after the service until 8pm.
