Peletisara Tolo Tauti

Virginia Beach- Peletisara Tolo Tauti, 54, passed away May 04, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Tauti was born June 2, 1955 in Utulei, America Samoa, a son of Lauoletolo Tauti and Leataata Peleti. He was Vending Manager at Navy Exchange Command for 34 years, retiring April 1,2010. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Peletisara was a member of the First Samoan Christian Church of Norfolk, where he was moderator , deacon, music director, and advisor for the Youth Group. He loved music and playing his guitar. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Tauti ; children, Peletisara Piumafua Tauti, Matthew Damon Tauti, Priscilla Merita Tauti, Marissa Leata Tauti, Christopher Ray Lipscomb, and Tyffanie Meredith; 4 brothers; 5 sisters; 8 grandchildren, Faaaliga, Sinaaletoelau, Diego Isaiah Tolo, Iniko Gianni, Faamanuia, Agelu, Jadyn Tiana, and Timoteo. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers. Family services will be Saturday May 15, 2010 at 6pm at First View Baptist Church , 9124 First View St. Norfolk, 23503. A church service will be Sunday May 16, 2010 at 2pm and funeral services Monday the 17th at 11am at First View Baptist Church . Family will receive friends Friday May 14, 2010 from 5-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk. Condolences may be offered to the family on-line at www.woodlawngroup.com.
