Young; a sister, NelRae Keel of Chesapeake; four daughters, Pam Harris of Suffolk, Patricia Jami of Virginia Beach, Lisa Bazinet of Suffolk, Brenda Porter-Credle of Virginia Beach; two sons, Michael Porter of Virginia Beach and Robert Porter of Brunswick, Ga.; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren that thought Papa could fix anything. A graveside service will be held at held at 2:00 p.m. today at his gravesite in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's honor to the Cancer Society and American Heart Association. The family wishes to extend a special appreciation to the hospice staff that made this transition a lot easier.
