Robert “Bobby” Harrison, 88, of Norfolk, VA died Thursday March 28 at Lake Taylor Transition Care Hospital. He was born December 25, 1935, to the late Emmett and Mattie Harrison.
Bobby worked in the automobile industry in sales and management for most of his career. He was an avid golfer and tennis player. Most of all he enjoyed being around people.
He is survived by his 3 children Debbie Billingsley, Bobby Harrison Jr., Curtis Harrison: three siblings, Betty Ryder, Curtis “Kirkie” Harrison, Forrest “Frosty” Harrison, and 7 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two siblings, Susan “Suzie” Paxton and Richard “Drowsy” Harrison, as well as his former wife Shirley Harrison.
Sincere thanks the entire Howerin family, especially Mary Elizabeth for letting him be a part of their family over the last 12 + years. Also, a special thanks to Carol Miller, who helped take care of him over the last 7 years.
There will be a graveside service set for 3pm on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation one hour prior starting at 2pm in the Woodlawn Funeral Home chapel. Please offer your fondest condolences to the family at www.woodlawnnorfolk.com
