Ronald “Capt. Ron” S. Clarke, 51, passed away December 29, 2016. Ron was born in Norfolk, VA to Dick and Mary Clarke and was a graduate of Kempsville H.S., class of 1984. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the water with friends and family regardless of whether it was salt or fresh water, catfish or tuna, rain or shine, he was going fishing. Not even his cancer would prevent him from spending time on the water in his boat. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Jhina Marie Davis.
Ron is survived by his parents; Dick and Mary, brothers; Rick and Bobby, 2 nieces, 5 nephews, and his many other friends and fishing buddies.
A celebration of Capt. Ron’s life will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 5 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
