William Michael Jefferson

William Michael Jefferson, 67, stepped into glory on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Chesapeake, VA. Michael was born in Fries, VA to the late William “Billy” and Winifred Jefferson. He retired from the US Navy after 32 years of service. Michael enlisted in the US Navy and worked hard during his career and moved up in ranks to a Chief Warrant Officer, W-4. After retiring Michael became a Licensed Real Estate Agent and worked for Brinks Armored Car company. Michael never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who met him.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Linda Jefferson; 7 Children, Katie Cornatzer (Robbie), William Michael Jefferson ll “Michael” (Natalie), John Paul Jefferson (Jamie), Alex Murphy(Kelly), Erica Murphy (Rick), Bridget Fonseca (David), Christina Pack (Danny); 13 grandchildren: Chase Cornatzer, William Michael Jefferson III “Mikey”, Jack Jefferson, Matthew Jefferson, Brody Jefferson, Mercedes Jefferson, Isabella Jefferson, Trinity Haynes, Cayden Haynes, David Fonseca, Benjamin Fonseca, Grace Pack, and Edward Ryland. He will also be missed by his sister, Teresa Hart and many nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Michael’s son-in-law, Pastor Danny Pack, Jr. at 2pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. There will be a visitation one hour prior to visit with the family. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
