Betty Michael Allen

She was born December 22, 1935 in Oklahoma City to William Henry and Helen Lee Michael.

Betty earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing which led her to a 50 year career as a nurse working in psychiatric medicine. She enjoyed traveling and cheering on the Razorbacks. She was at the infamous 1976 orange bowl. She loved to spend time with her family and was very proud of her certified therapy dog Fred that she would take to the hospitals with her. Fred and Betty brought so much joy to the patients, their families and the staff at the hospitals.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Charles (Debbie) Allen of Newalla, Barbara “Bobi” Allen Niccum of Moore, Michael Eric (Debby) Allen of Little Rock; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; brother Richard Michael; nephews John, James and Rem; niece: Tiffany.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved sister Jeri grandson Mitch and great-grandson Pryor.

Memorial Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday February 10, 2018 at Del View Baptist Church, 2500 S. Bryant Del City, OK 73115.
