

Cae Marie Hamilton was born on November 20, 1944, in Norman, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Owen Harding and Arlene Jenett (Valentine) Lecklider. She grew up in Norman attending Norman Public Schools and graduating from Norman High School in 1962. They lived in Oklahoma and Colorado. In 1981 she moved back to Norman. She worked in banking for many years and later began her career with the State of Oklahoma as a social worker until her retirement. She was a member of the YMCA where she enjoyed water aerobics, she loved pets and would pet set for people. She also enjoyed making crafts, scrapbooking, origamis, and she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Owen Lecklider; one brother, Murray Lecklider; one son, George Hamilton; and one daughter, Mary Hamilton.
She is survived by her mother, Arlene Kateen of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, Murray Hamilton and wife Cicily of Edmond, Oklahoma; one daughter, Arlesa “Lesa” Hamilton-Huff of Purcell, Oklahoma; one brother, Owen Lecklider of Norman, Oklahoma; one sister, Linda Jones, of Talking Rock, Georgia; and six grandchildren, Zach, Bailey, Miranda, Kinsey, Aiden, and Mary.
Memorial Services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm, at the Rail House in Norman, Oklahoma.
