Daryl was born in Sacramento, California on March 25, 1959 to Daryl Frank Abbey Sr. and Aretta (Robertson) Abbey. Daryl grew up in Norman and he attended Norman High.
Daryl loved the traveling he got to do with his career as a truck driver. He enjoyed taking photos, listening to classic rock, speedboats and motorcycles. Daryl will always be remembered for his wicked sense of humor.
Daryl was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Lisha Abbey, and Lauren Abbey both of Houston, Texas. His brother Jason and his wife Kris Abbey and his sister Charisse and her husband Chuck Ladd, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
