She was born October 30, 1943 in McAlester, OK to Shirley R. and Lorene H. (Lester) Johnston. She married Herbert E. Nickell on January 15, 1974 in Norman, OK who preceded her in death on July 29, 2016.
Fran worked for Griffin Memorial Hospital in the reimbursement department for many years. She enjoyed traveling especially to Hawaii. Her passion was her little sports car she loved to zip around town in. Above all she was a caregiver and loved being with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her children: David (Fran) Musgrove of Littleton, CO, Leslie (Kevin) Hudson of Lake Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Jade Hudson, Noah Musgrove, Kathryne Musgrove; siblings: Shirlene (Olaf) Seaton of Norman, Jean (Albert) Kobilan of Colorado Springs, CO; nieces: Shirley Harris, Sherri (Sam) Hunt; numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday March 12, 2017 at Primrose Funeral Service. The Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday March 13, 2017 at Primrose Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Norman. Dr. Bob Gragg will officiate.
