I have missed working with Emily. I decided to search and was saddened to see this. I remember so many good times with her. Emily was a good speller and a talented rapper. She loved ice cream at Western Sizzlin, Jesus, her family and her animals, among other things. She had a big heart and a beautiful smile. I'm glad I was able to be a part of her life. David and Mary Lou, I am so sorry for your loss.

We miss you sooooo!  Noah still prays for you every night.  Your faith along
with your mom's are what I will always be able to fall back on during the valley times - you are our inspiration, unending. See you again.

Emily, you will be so missed, but we will all be together again one day. You taught me so many lessons; to always keep trying,  never give up, love life, like swimming, biking, skating, crafting, etc. , that God is always with us, to be kind.  I love you Em and really miss you.  You were our "bright star" here on earth.

I was lucky to know Emily. I am very saddened to hear of her passing. She was exceptional, strong, motivated, charming, stubborn, full of life and opinions and inspiring. RIP lovely one.

I just came across this obituary and was very sad to see the passing of Emily. I remember her always as I've been seeing her around Norman as long as I can remember. Most recently, I spent a little time notarizing some papers for her. You were an angel on Earth, Emily. God Bless you.

Emily was an amazing woman.  Can't was not part of her vocabulary.  Swimming at the OU pool was a big part of her life and (diving off the high board, when they had one). How thankful and blessed I am to have Em as my big sister.
