James Edward Adams, age 79, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. James was born December 26, 1942 to Syble Viola (Bolin) Adams and Calvin Alvin Adams.

James and Karen Adams were united in marriage on November 25, 1966 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. James lived in Texas most of his married life and enjoyed bible study, reading his book collection and playing bridge.

James is survived by his sister Virginia Lois Byrd and his brother-in-law Tom Willoughby; his niece Jana McCalip, his niece Rhonda Johnson, his nephew John Morgan, his nephew James Morgan, his niece Debra Morgan, his great nephew Chase Willoughby, his great niece Julia Willoughby, his great nephew Matthew Morgan, his great nephew Aaron Morgan, his great nephew Dalton Morgan and his step great nephew Spencer.

James was preceded in death by his spouse Karen M. Willoughby; his father Calvin Alvin Adams and his mother Syble Viola (Bolin) Adams.
