Beloved, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away suddenly. Born April 26th 1958 in Fukuoka, Japan where his father was stationed at the time. His early childhood was spent in Pennsylvania. The Whyatt family moved to Midwest city when Jimmy was in elementary school, and then to Norman where he attended West Mid High, and Norman High graduating with Honors in 1976. He most recently held the position of Inside Sales Manager for TAPS manufacturing in Norman for 5 years
Jim is survived by his son, David; daughter-in-law, Amy; grandchildren Miah, Benjamin, Daniel, Jacob, and Caleb, Brothers; John, Patrick, and Christopher; Sisters: Jill, Joan, Mary, Susan, Kathy, and Margaret, and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents John L. and Mary “Betty” E. Whyatt. Jim had a great zeal for life and people, and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, August 19th at Wildwood Community Church in Norman.
