Jimmy Loyd Kirby was born in Norman, Oklahoma on July 22, 1966. On June 13, 2025, he passed away at the age of 58. He is survived by his wife Robin Kirby of Noble, his parents Jimmy & Barbara Kirby of Noble, a brother Dean Kirby and wife Kim, son Trey Kirby & wife Tiffany, son Nathan Kirby & wife Kelsey and son Joshua Kirby. He has 4 grandchildren, Hadley, Reid, Presley and Patton and 2 nephews Clint and Jordan.
Jim was preceded in death by his beloved Alice Splawn (Bossie), Pete Kirby, Tom Kirby, Doris Blackwell, Shirley Hawkins, Dale Kirby, Jack Blair, Ida Fowler, Dave Blair, Robert Blair.
Jim attended Noble Public Schools and Robertson Street Christian School.
He was a machinist for Wood Group for years, but his true love was cutting, raking and baling hay with his dad. He would spend many springs/summers in the John Deere tractor with his dad not far from him. He loved the cattle, but especially the little babies. His greatest love was his family and his closest friends.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Noble I.O.O.F Cemetery, 907 Main St, Noble, OK 73068.
