

Jules was born November 22, 1953 in Lafayette, LA to Jules Myers Sr. and Rose (Sonnier) Myers. On November 25, 1995 he married Vickie Beasley.
Jules served his country in the United States Army and was an officer in correctional facilities in both Louisiana and Oklahoma. He spent much of his time at gun ranges teaching children the importance of gun safety and handling. He loved to spend time with family and friends and he never met a stranger. He was famous for his baked strawberry bread and his Cajun dishes of smothered chicken or smothered pork chops. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife Vickie of almost 20 years; children: Melody (Sean) Freemin of Houma, LA, Julee Myers of Kaplan, LA, Trent Myers of Kaplan, LA, Melanie (Dirk) Keiser of Frisco, TX, Melissa Goodman of Norman; grandchildren: Grayson Keiser and Colin Goodman; mother who raised him: Theresa Myers; siblings: Louis Myers, Kermit (Sheila) Myers, Pat (Sandra) Myers, Mickey Thibodeaux, Janet (Joe) Menard, Dianne (Billy) Singleton, Wayne (Lisa) Myers, Debbie (Andrew) Mestas, Charlene (Floyd) LeBlanc, Ricky Myers and Carol (Lee) Myers; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and birth mother; siblings: John Myers, Jerry Myers and Marie Meche.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday November 9, 2015 at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 N. Porter Ave. Norman, OK 73071. The Rev Joe Ray will officiate.
