

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lois Louise Wilson, who passed away February 11, 2025, at the age of 90. Lois was born on January 12, 1935, in Moline, Illinois, to William S. Davis and Margaret Roby Davis.
Lois attended Moline High School, graduating in 1952, and continued her education at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. She later earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Central Missouri in Warrenton.
Lois’ life journey took her and her family to various locations due to her first husband’s work in the aerospace industry. The family lived in ten different cities from coast to coast and North to South before settling in Missouri. In 1996, Lois moved to Norman, Oklahoma, where she spent her remaining years.
Lois was married to Donald N. Wilson in 1952. They were married 25 years raising three children together and sharing countless adventures in traveling. In 1979, Lois married Jim Warren, and cherished the time they spent together. Lois loved nature, the National Parks, and camping. She loved going to the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. She was an accomplished musician playing the accordion.
Lois was a loving mother to three children: Sherry S. Blythe (Vern) of Highlands Ranch, CO; Shannon J. Wilson (Sheryl) of Chesnee, SC; and Donald R. Wilson of Independence, MO. She was a proud grandmother of five: Gregory Wilson, Tracie Colbert, Stacey Chubbuck, Jeffrey Sheely, and Bridget Wilson, as well as a great-grandmother to eight.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert W. Davis, and her beloved husbands.
Lois will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, curiosity, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of learning, compassion, and a devotion to those she loved.
