Marcia Lebermann

Marcia Lebermann, born January 16, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Arthur "Bill" Strickland and Helen (Banning) Strickland, passed away on November 27, 2024, in Norman, Oklahoma, where she made her home and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

Marcia married Michael Lebermann, on December 15, 1965. They shared over two decades of adventures before his passing in January 2014. Together, they raised a family steeped in love, laughter, and cherished traditions. She taught the importance of "family first" and embraced life to its fullest, passing these values on to her children and grandchildren.

A lover of country music and the color purple, Marcia found joy in the simple things—camping, fishing, spending time outdoors, and sharing heartfelt conversations with friends. Her perfect day was one spent surrounded by her grandchildren, whose antics brought her endless laughter and joy. She was a skilled teacher, showing others how to clean a catfish, and a role model for living life with kindness and generosity. Marcia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose love knew no bounds.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Lebermann of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Chris Lebermann and his wife, Laura, of Moore, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Tim Lebermann, Justin Lebermann, Kasey Lebermann, Katelynn Lebermann, Jenn Holiday, Madison Mobley, Kylee Strader, Brett Strader, Tiffany Strader, Krystal Etter, and Sky; and many other family members and friends.

Marcia is reunited in heaven with her parents, Arthur and Helen, her grandson David Lebermann, and her daughter-in-law Sonjia Lebermann.

Her warmth, laughter, and wisdom will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

A graveside service for Marcia will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2301 E Indian Hills Rd, Norman, OK 73071.
