Martin James Bailey, 64, of Tribbey, died Friday, June 4, 2010 in Norman. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the Tribbey House of Worship with interment following at Tribbey Cemetery.
Martin was born in Norman on May 7, 1946 to Henry Albert Bailey and Billie Faye “Lamb” Carpenter. He married Estell Delaney on July 31, 1967 in Norman. In March 1974 they moved to Tribbey, Oklahoma raising four children and calling it home for 36 years. Martin was a self employed carpenter and mechanic. He enjoyed restoring cars, fishing and drawing.
Martin was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother and father; and daughter Angela Bailey Dubĕ.
He is survived by his wife Estell of the home; daughters Brandi Pool and husband Mark of Norman and Priscilla Bailey of the home; son Chad Bailey and wife Debby of Tribbey; two brothers Billy and Carolyn Bailey of Norman, Rex and Joyce Bailey of Lexington; two nieces Connie Rollin of Purcell and Jennifer Bailey of Lexington.
