He was born July 7, 1942 in Sterling, CO to Roland and Florence Fleshman. On September 12, 1963 he married Chong Suk in Seoul, Korea.
Monte proudly served his country with the United States Army for 21 years after retirement he went on to work for the United States Postal Service for 20 years. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, on his pontoon, camping and fishing. He was a New England Patriots Fan. Monte was a very faithful husband and was a long time member of Wester Hills Christian church in Lawton. Above all he loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Chong Suk of 55 years; sons: Ronnie Fleshman of Palm Bay, FL, Larry and wife Kristie Fleshman of Norman, Tony Fleshman of Moore, OK; grandchildren: Joshua Fleshman, Anthony Fleshman, Brianna Fleshman, Chloe Fleshman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday January 5, 2019 at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel, Norman, OK.
