

Patricia Nan Brown Hogan went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 15, 2014. She lacked 17 days being age 84. She was born on January 1, 1931, in her Grandparents home on the corner of Stewart and Comanche., to Earl L and Ethel Lee (Attaway) Brown. She was Cleveland County's 1931 New Year's Baby. She attended Jefferson Elementary and was a member of the class of 1947 at Norman High. She was an accomplished pianist and organist. She began playing the piano for Norman's First Church of the Nazarene at age 12, and was the first organist on their new organ at age 14. She continued to play one or the other for various Nazarene churches all of her adult life, as well as being requested for weddings and funerals.
Pat married Ernest A. Hogan on June 16, 1947. She was the 3rd of five generations in her family to marry on June 16. She and Ernest had 5 children: Suzette (Larry) Weaver, Noble, Michael (Debbie) Hogan, OKC, Gary (Debbie) Hogan, Greenbrier, AR, Dale A. Hogan, deceased 1966, and Gayle (Gene) Baker, Moore. They have 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Pat had 4 younger siblings, sister Lee Dunlap, OKC, and brothers John Earl Brown, deceased, Paul Brown, deceased, and Courtney Brown of Fountain Hills, AZ.
Pat and Ernest were foster parents for DHS for 40 years, 1967-2007, loving and caring for over 200 babies. She leaves the legacy of her love of God, family, and music to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren
