

Phil graduated from John Marshall High School in 1965 where he was a good all-around high school athlete, especially excelling at wrestling. He was an Oklahoma state champion wrestler, which earned him an athletic scholarship at the University of Wyoming. Phil was called to serve his country in the military, where he participated on the U.S. Army Wrestling team, and ultimately graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1971.
Phil went on to pursue a career in the sports equipment and foodservice industries. Throughout his life, he maintained a passion for sports, regularly playing golf and rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners. Phil was known for his fun and witty personality and loved sharing a few laughs with friends and family. He had a big heart and was a caring husband and father, always putting the concerns of his family in front of his own.
Phil is survived by his wife, Carol; brother, Barre; son, Jason (Jenifer); grandchildren, Trent and Mallory; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Conley.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the First Baptist Church of Norman, Oklahoma on October 28, 2023, at 10am.
