Terry Lynn Attaway

He was born September 13, 1956 in Norman to James Elmer and Betty Jo Wilkerson Attaway. On March 20, 1975 he married Donna Ewing in Norman.

Terry carried on the tradition of being a butcher and worked in packing houses throughout the area until the mid-1980s until he moved onto the construction industry as a concrete finisher. He was a member of Liberty Gospel for about 10 years. He loved to cheer on his OU Sooners in football, he enjoyed fishing and hanging out, but above all he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife Donna of 42 years; children: Danny and his wife Erin Attaway of Norman, Travis and his wife Michelle Attaway of Choctaw, Jacob Attaway of Norman; niece: Julynda Azure-Smith of Norman and Okinawa Japan; grandchildren: Kenna, Aidan, Morgan and Ann; siblings: James Lee Attaway of Maude, Jesse Odel Attaway of Oceanside, CA, Darrell Leon Attaway Sr. and wife Cindy of Benton, AR, Betty Jo and husband Roger Cavin of Benton, Ar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday August 15 at Primrose Funeral Service, Norman. Funeral Service will be at 10 am on Wednesday August 16 at Primrose Funeral Service. The Rev. Harry Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Denver Cemetery.
