He was born April 26, 1926 at Prince Albert, Sask to Alf and Laura Wilson. He grew up on the farm north of Prince Albert and attended Red Wing school. He farmed, worked construction in Alberta, drove truck, operated his own trucking company in Fort Nelson, B.C. Before settling on the farm in Shell Lake. He retired from farming in 1996, moved to Cutknife in 2013, where he resided until his passsing.
He his survived by his children, Keith (Kathleen) Wilson of Nanaimo, B.C., Sheila (Tom) Watson of Waga Waga, Australia, Joy (Eugene) Kuechle of Wembley, Ab., Neal Wilson of Blaine Lake, Kevin (Brenda) Wilson of Grande Prairie, Ab., Bud Wilson of Waldheim, Ken Wilson of Cutknife and Melani Wilson of Calgary, Ab., Sixteen grandchildren and several great-children, his sisters Laura and Elsie of Prince Albert and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Alf and Laura Wilson, his first wife, Kay, his second wife, Ivy, his third partner, Betty, his sisters, Bertha Logadin and Ellen Denysiuk, his brother , Charlie Wilson and his daughter, Karen.
