Amelia Sander

Amelia is survived by her children: Florence Matlock, Wilhelm (Gwen) Sander, Eileen (Blair) Neff, Michael (Sylvia) Sander, Lorette (Angelo) Vibar, Rosanne Sander and Julie Ann (Chris) Branter.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Amanda (Phillip) Bertoia, Chandra (Mike) Matlock, Warren (Truda) Matlock, Daniel Sander, Justin (Kim) Sander, Jeralyn (Chris) Daniels, Leah Vibar, Ashley Vibar, Brittany (Matthew) Gullekson, Cassity Branter and Sydney (Cole) Schnell.

She is survived by her great-grandchildren: Courtlyn & Avery Bertoia, Austin, Rylan & Halle Matlock, Ocean Venz, Marlowe Matlock, Deacon & Keilie Sander and Hana, Kaydence & Rylea Daniels & William Gullekson.

She is also survived by her siblings: Eileen (Rod) Moon, Julie (Wayne) Diebel, Leo (Marianne) Heilman, John (Judy) Heilman, William (Melanie) Heilman; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Amelia was predeceased by her husband Leo; parents Anton & Florence Heilman, stepmother Mary Heilman; father and mother-in-law Wilhelm & Julia Sander; brother Tony (Tillie) Heilman; brother and sisters-in-law Ken Moon, Joe (Paula), Bill (Clem), John and Jerry (Theresa) Sander; Elizabeth (Ralph) Barth, Veronica (Martin) Wandler, Agnes (Tom) Wandler, and Julia (Mike) Wandler.; son in law Gerald Matlock.

Amelia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie, daughter, sister, friend and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Amelia will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A prayer vigil for Amelia will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 7:45 PM at Sallows & McDonald - Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home, 1271-103rd Street, North Battleford, Saskatchewan.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Calasanctius Roman Catholic Church, 1942-98th Street, North Battleford, Saskatchewan.
