Woody was born in Grand Prairie, Alberta and resided in Alberta for most of his youth and young adult life. Woody spent time in the Yukon, trying his hand at various jobs before making his way back to Alberta. There he met Judy, and they built a life out on Vancouver Island before retiring in Saskatchewan. Woody had a lot of life in the Dash between his Date of Birth - Date of Death. Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Carpenter, Artist, Friend, Partner the list goes on.
Woody loved to be busy, gardening, making wine, painting, carving birds or fish, designing jewelry, fishing, camping, gold mining and exploring North America. If Woody didn’t know how to do something out would come the books, or later “Google”. and he taught himself how to do whatever new thing he wanted to accomplish. Woody always had a Can-do attitude.
Woody truly was loved. Woody will be missed and will remain in the hearts of many.
Woody is survived by his loving wife Judy E. Lacey, his sister Nora Hoskins, his step daughter Bambi Barnes, and his step son Berton Barnes.
