

Gordon was born in Innisfail, AB., September 12th, 1938. Left to cherish Gordon’s memory is his loving wife, Nonie of 42 years; his 5 loving sons, 2 daughters; son and daughter in laws; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom and Dad were married March 14, 1966. When Dad married our Mother along came a care package of 5 small children of whom Dad adopted and with great pride and joy, he gave us kids his name of which we are so proud of. Gord also had 4 very special friends – Brent Higgs, Leon Primeau, Lenny Leung and Peter Winterhault who will miss him dearly.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Beatrice and Albert Vincent.
During his various types of employment, his caring nature always led him down the path of helping others and asked for nothing in return.
Gordon received the Service Person Award from the Battlefords Transit System in 1998. Gordon also had numerous friends from the Senior Citizen apartments in North Battleford, also many friends form the Canadian Mental Health Association in North Battleford.
Along with being a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was everyone’s best friend.
