John Victor Semaganis was born on February 1, 1939 in Little Pine First Nation, SK (CAN) and passed away on May 22, 2020 in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan (Canada) and is under the care of Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on May 25, 2020 at 11:00 am.

They are survived by Jonas leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Arthur Semaganis, Ruby (Richard) Semaganis, Ravena (Earl) Semaganis, Rachael (Jason) Semaganis, Leslie (Laurie) Checkosis, Carl (Bernie) Kennedy, and Laurie Jimmy; siblings Earl Wallace Semaganis, Marlene Annbelle Semaganis, and Sidney Roberts; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren were all loved by him.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Ivana Semaganis; sons Derek Semaganis, Jonathan Semaganis, and Hector Semaganis; father John Baptiste; mother Maria (Badger) Semaganis; brothers Ben Checkosis, John George, Mervin Semaganis, Edwin Semaganis, and Victor Semaganis; sisters Ruth Starr, Yvonne Fischer, and Lillian Semaganis..
