Lucy Favel

Lucy is loved and survived by her daughters Alma, Audrey (Gerald), Darlene (Hickson), Valerie, Sandra; sons Don (Andrea), Blaine, Don Pooyak (Lillian), Brothers; Cliff Ahenekew, Hector Ahenekew, Geoffrey Ahenakew and Jack Phillip, Darryl Kasokeo and numerous adopted children; 28 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren; children of her beloved brother Don Chatsis: Verla Chatsis, Deborah Chatsis, Brian Chatsis and Sandra Ahenakew; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and many who called her mom (Dolores, Brenda, Hal, Boss {Lawrence}, Judy, Elaine, Gloria, Ruth, Spencer, Nancy, Josephine).

Lucy is predeceased by her husband Henry Favel; daughter Evelyn Gloria; parents Alec Phillip and Helen Standinghorn, Mr. and Mrs. Horsechild; sons Cecil Pewapisconias, Murray Baptiste; brothers Donald Chatsis, George Chatsis; sisters Freda, Grace, Noreen and Linda Ahenakew; cousins Philip Standinghorn and Thomas Starr; great grandchild Ronnie King; granddaughter Erma Bonaise and nephew Kevin Greyeyes.

A public wake will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 9:30 am from the Veteran's Hall, Poundmaker Cree Nation. Funeral services will follow at the Poundmaker Catholic Church at 11:00 am, with Father Greg Roth Officiating. Interment will take place after services at the Poundmaker Cemetery.
