I had the opportunity long ago to serve as one of Ashley’s teachers. While searching for a particular obituary, I stumbled upon hers. Although I’m filled with sadness about Ashley’s untimely passing, I’m thankful I ended up on her page because I’ve been able to reflect on her carpe diem (yolo) approach to life. Let’s channel her smile and her energy into our own lives and fulfill her legacy by saying something nice daily to one extra person, starting today.

Ashley, 

You will always be remembered and in our thoughts and prayers.  We miss you so much already.  I will always remember our youthful-fun days at family get togethers and how beautiful you were (inside and out).  We had so much fun at your Mom and Dad's in Pinopolis.  You were just a toddler then, but it seems like just yesterday.  You were so fun and energetic.  You lit up the room with your beautiful smile.  Your memory will live on in our hearts forever. I love you Ashley & can’t believe your gone.💔 I will never, not miss and think about you, you we’re apart of my childhood, on up into adulthood.
