Carl E Bell, 92 of North Charleston, husband of Joyce Loretta Bell, passed away on March 8, 2025 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. Funeral Service will be at 2 pm. Friday March 14, 2025 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at the Carolina Memorial Garden Mausoleum .
Carl served in the United States Marine Corps from 1950 to 1959. He was a Purple Heart recipient from wounds received in Korea. Carl retired as a Foreman Boilermaker at Charleston Naval Shipyard in 1986. He was a Bible teacher for over forty five years.
Carl is survived by his wife Joyce Loretta of 72 years, one daughter Carolyn Marie Bell of North Charleston, one son Karl Timothy Bell (Rhonda) of Moncks Corner, one brother Raymond W Roberts of Cross, SC. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Shane Craven, Paul Craven(Tracy), Kristen Roncek (Jason) Rhanda Brooks (Bryan) and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 1 pm to 2 pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home.
Carl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
