I first met Carl when we attended high school together. Although we were friendly toward one another, we did not have a true friendship. We did not share matters of the heart at so young an age. Years later when I called Carl, out of the blue, asking of him his time, his wisdom and ultimately his friendship, he did not hesitate. Despite the fact we had not talked in years, he responded with  such openness and warmth, you would have thought we had best friends. I'm so sorry that I was not wise enough to keep in contact with Carl and continue to nurture that friendship. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace, carl, my friend.

I knew Carl many years ago - we attended middle and high school together and we even dated for a while. I considered him a great friend and it breaks my heart that I had lost contact with him over the last 10 years or so - I am very happy to see that he continued to be a great joy and friend to those around him.

Carl Scott was my Best friend of over 20 + years. It broke my heart when I opened the door to his bedroom and found him. My heart is still broken 5 weeks later and I still cry daily for him (call me crybaby all you want Carl) you were so full of life when i last saw you. Carl has been closer to me these past 20+ years then my own twin brother has been. Our friendship had its ups and downs and I sometimes question if i was as important to him as he was to me.  I have to believe that at least now he knows that I have always cared and did my best to do right by him. There is a void in my life where Carl once stood. We were supposed to be old fogies togeather. So now what? When I see you again my friend, in the next life, first im gonna punch you for leaving so soon then im gonna hug you so hard youll wish u were alive again! It was an honor being your best friend. Thanks for having my back till now! Thanks for all the memories! But most of all thanks for being my friend and my family these past 24 years! YOU WILL NEVER BE REPLACED

I worked with Carl thru an insurance carrier in NYS.  I just learned of his passing.  My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.  He was so kind and understanding, never appeared to be rattled and was on top of his game at all times.  He was someone who left a lasting impression on others, miles and miles away.  That takes a very special person.  God bless you Carl.  It was a sincere pleasure working with you. Your presence is sorely missed.

Carl had so much energy and enthusiasm...he was truly one of a kind. I was blessed to have worked with him over the last few years. Working with Carl reminds us all that the delivery of our work is like a portrait of ourselves. His contribution to our organization is irreplaceable. More importantly, his delivery was always encouraging, pleasant and humorous. You were one of a kind and deeply missed.

Carl will be missed so greatly by his work Family. He was always ready to help and his comedic remarks kept us all smiling, especially when things were at their most difficult. I have worked with Carl for such a long time and he was always there to help with my questions. I will miss him. My condolences to his other Family and Friends.

Carl was one of my favorite people of all time. He was always able to make light of any situation. He was so unbelievably passionate about his work and making sure his clients were happy. He was known for his off-hand comments that were often inappropriate but always hilarious, thinking about them now puts a smile on my face. I'm so grateful to have known Carl and get to work with him everyday, he was truly one of a kind. I even dressed up as him for Halloween about 6 years ago! :) Picture attached! I am sorry for your loss.  I am a program coordinator with Carl at Altegra Health.  He was exceptional in working with clients.  He was always willing to work together to accomplish the task at hand.  He was also willing to stop what he was doing to train me, no matter what day or time.  I enjoyed Carl as a co-worker.  It was always fun being around Carl.  Yesterday the team did a toast to Carl with chocolate milk, one of his essential food groups!  We will miss him terribly.

Carl will forever be in my heart and mind, you can't ever forget someone with such a large heart. I am totally heartbroken to hear about Carl's passing. Carl was hilarious, had the most cheerful spirit all the time no matter the situation and kept all of our calls fun! I had the opportunity  to work with Carl while I was with Altegra and had a ball working with his clients. He will truly be missed

Carl had a kind & gentle spirit and I am so very saddened by his passing.  Over the past several years, we became close friends through many phone conversations that began professionally. He had a way to befriend all that he came in contact with and you left a conversation with him feeling better.
