Carol Carraway

Carol met her first husband Fred Percy at the ice cream shop she worked at. They married in 1958 and had four children: Robert (Anne), Gary, James, and Vickie. Carol had sixteen wonderful years with Fred until his unexpected death in 1974.

In 1980 Carol was introduced to John Carraway, whom she married and became mom to his children from his first marriage: Felton (Melinda), Wanda (Jimmy), Gary (Faith), Cindy, and Kevin. Between Carol and John there was a total of 23 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family asks that long-time friends cherish their last memories of Carol and honor their wishes for this private moment.

A graveside service is being planned to take place in Marion, Indiana on Friday November 10, 2023. Funeral services are being coordinated with Elm Ridge Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Muncie, Indiana. All flowers and condolences are welcomed at this funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406, to get Carol home to Marion, IN.
