Carrie Lee Nailling

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Carrie Lee Nailling, age 91, of Ladson, SC, on February 21, 2024. Carrie was born on September 12, 1932, in Gordonsville, TN, born to the late Alvin and Lou Della Phillips.

She now joins her beloved husband, Robert Nailling; her son Richard Nailling; and daughter-in-law, Vivian Vee Nailling, along with her parents, in the eternal embrace of peace.

Carrie is survived by three sons, Ronnie Nailling, Jeffrey Nailling (Monica), and Rodger Nailling (Beverly); eight cherished grandchildren; and seventeen adored great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be remembered. In her younger days, Carrie found joy in the company of friends, socializing, and the thrill of playing bingo. Her vibrant spirit and zest for life endeared her to all who crossed her path.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who provided care and comfort to Carrie during her final days.

Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11:30 AM. A celebration of Carrie's life will be held in the chapel at 12:30 PM, followed by her entombment at the mausoleums of Carolina Memorial Park.
