Mr. Cecil Wayne Richardson, “C.W”, of Summerville, SC, entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2016. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 8, 2016, at 11:00am in the chapel of Carolina Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Cecil was born on May 26, 1935, in Marion, SC, to parents Clyde Henry and Nancy Glenn Chestnut. He served his country in the Navy for 20 years and worked as a commissary storeman. He held memberships in the Fleet Reserve, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Shriner Lodge. Cecil is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mabel Richardson, his children, Clayton Wayne Richardson (LeAnna), Collieta Wade “Tiny” Richardson (Robin), and Denise Ann Breland (Randy), all of Summerville, SC; his brothers, Clyde Richardson, of Loris, SC, Ethel Richardson, of Waynesville, NC, and Grady Richardson, of Conway, SC; as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
