David Allen Tollinger

Relatives and friends of David Tollinger are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.

David was born in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, on September 28, 1939. He was the son of Robert and Isabelle Tollinger. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and retired from Bell South/AT&T. David was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors; always surrounded by his animals. He loved his family, friends, and most of all, God.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, of 61 years; daughters, Sandra Pearcy, Tammy Bakker-Tollinger, Glenda Lucas, and Lynnette Feldhake; grandchildren, Meghann (Ed) Zuzick, Brittany Feldhake, Rhaeanne Bakker, and Morgan Feldhake as well as a great grandson, Eric Sellars. David was predeceased by his son, Robert Tollinger and his grandson, Jacob Lucas.
