George Allen Jordan, 54, of Ladson, SC went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long battle with cancer. Allen was a diehard Gamecocks fan and loved drag racing. He worked all his life as a contract painter. He was a hard worker and devoted husband. He loved his wife, mother, son and whole family more than life itself. Allen will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Juanita Jordan; son, Christopher Jordan; mother, Margaret Pierce; a brother, Lee Jordan (Cindy); sister, Kim Gaskins (Todd); a special sister, Debbie Burbage and lots of nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Carolina Memorial Funeral Home from 2:00-3:30 p.m. A memorial service will follow the visitation in Carolina Memorial Chapel.
