

Glenn was born on August 18th, 1965 to the late Edward Baumuller and Ann Baumuller Harvey in Huntington, New York
He is survived by his wife Linda Baumuller; his sister Brenda Overstreet and her husband Keith; his son Eric Conn and his wife Alex; his daughter Melinda Smith and her husband Josh. Glenn was a proud and devoted grandfather to Lukas, Quentin, Lillian, Nathalie, Damien, Mylee, Brady, and Wyatt. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces Melissa Baumuller and Ashley Overstreet; his nephew Shawn Overstreet; grandnieces Lailah, Leeyah, and Lucy Overstreet; and grandnephew Nick Garner. Glenn also leaves behind his brothers-in-law David Thomas and his wife Angel, Danny Thomas and his wife Elly; nephew-in-law Nick Thomas and his wife Taylor; and niece-in-law Jessica Mendez and her wife Monique.
Glenn was a devoted and loving husband to his beloved wife, Linda. A man of great integrity and compassion, he dedicated 32 years of his life to serving others as a firefighter. He proudly retired from the Charleston Fire Department as an Engineer after 21 years of distinguished and exemplary service.
Glenn’s life was defined by service, courage, and community. He found deep joy in spending time with his family and held a special bond with his brothers and sisters in the fire service. Whether at the firehouse or at home, Glenn brought warmth, strength, and a quiet heroism to everyone around him.
He will be remembered not only for his professional dedication but for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for those closest to him.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 from 10am-12pm followed by funeral services at 12pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home and chapel, 7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston. Interment will follow funeral services at Carolina Memorial Gardens with Charleston Fire Department Honors.
