Harry Hayward

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away” Revelations 21:4 Life's Journey Harry Hayward Jr, 66, was called to eternal rest on Sunday May 17, 2015. He was born on February 14, 1949 in Wildwood , NJ. He was born to (the late) Harry Hayward Sr. and (the late) Martina G. Hayward Ravenal. He was proceeded in death by one older sister Harriet Patricia Gales. Harry, was known to his Wildwood, NJ Family and Community as “Bubbie” and during his early years he was dedicated to his Family, Community, Education and his passion for Basketball. He attended Wildwood Public Schools where he excelled in academics and athletics. Bubbie was known in Wildwood for his exceptional skills on the basketball court. He carried his passion for basketball to the University of Michigan where he played guard during 1969-1971. Upon his completion at the University of Michigan, Harry earned his BA in History and Social Studies and a MBA from the University of Phoenix. To highlight additional achievements: Harry served in the National Guard. He started as a teacher and he retired as an Assistant Deputy Superintendent for the Ann Arbor Public School system, with exemplary service. Harry was also know for his entrepreneurial spirit, starting several businesses and an educational consulting firm. He is survived by three adult children: Trevor Hayward (Andrea), Kivia Hayward Ashford (LaMar) and Travis Hayward, eight grand-children, two brothers and two sisters: Kenneth, Marlene, Martin Hayward and Nadine McCain (Benny).
